The G-PST Consortium, launched by U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm and others at the Biden 2021 Earth Day Summit, will bring consortium leaders and grid system experts together in a roundtable to share examples of technology pilots and deployment, as well as operational or regulatory changes that have resulted from G-PST’s work and are accelerating power system decarbonization. The roundtable will start with individual examples, then move into roundtable discussion and Q&A in order to foster experience sharing and knowledge transfer and to build connections to enable future collaboration on deployment of technology or operational solutions for advancing the integration of variable renewables, demand flexibility, and energy storage for accelerating power sector decarbonization.
