Germany and the U.S. have entered a partnership aimed at strengthening climate ambition and deepening the countries’ collaboration on policies and sustainable technologies needed to accelerate the transition to a global net-zero future. Senior officials from both countries will discuss the interdependence of energy security and decarbonization, including through the First Movers Coalition. They will showcase US-German cooperation and talk about how the newly established Climate and Energy Partnership can accelerate climate action and inform global net zero, decarbonization, and energy security discussions.
