In partnership with the Department of Energy, the Fusion Industry Association is hosting a fusion showcase. The event, through keynote speakers and two panel sessions, will highlight the current state of fusion energy and look forward to what the commercialization and deployment of fusion energy means for mitigating the climate crisis. The first panel discussion will broadly focus on fusion energy as it stands today and looking forward. The panel will define fusion as a climate and energy solution, as well as focus on the numerous actors that play a critical role in rapidly achieving fusion commercialization and broadscale deployment. It will include representation from: research, government, public engagement/DEI, regulatory affairs, private industry, and end-market usage. The second panel discussion will highlight the quickly growing private fusion industry, and will speak to where the industry stands today, projected timelines, and end-market use.
