Mollie Johnson became NRCan’s Associate Deputy Minister on June 20, 2022. Prior to her current position, Ms. Johnson served in three positions at Natural Resources Canada: as Assistant Deputy Minister, Energy Systems Sector, as Assistant Deputy Minister, Communications and Portfolio Sector; and, Director General, Policy, Major Projects Management Office. She has also held executive positions at Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Competition Bureau; and served as a senior officer in Legislation and House Planning at the Privy Council Office.

Mollie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario, and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School.
