Wolfgang is an expert on low-carbon energy technology policy with in-depth knowledge of the science and technology of CO2 capture and storage. He was a Senior Research Fellow at KAPSARC from 2015 to 2020 and is presently a Senior Visiting Fellow at the institution. Prior to joining KAPSARC Wolfgang was a senior adviser at the International Energy Agency in Paris. Wolfgang has over 20 years’ experience working with Shell International, The Hague, where he also served as General Manager for CO2 policy. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering, and M.A. degrees in Economics and Physics.
